Priorities of nursing research for the topic area of dementia care in the German-speaking region

Objective: Identify and prioritise key areas of nursing research for the topic area of dementia care in the German-speaking region.

Methodological approach: Literature will be systematically researched to elicit existing research agendas on the topic area of dementia care. Applying the Delphi method, systematically identified dementia care experts from the German-speaking region will supplement the extracted key research areas and appraise their importance. Thereafter, the participants will prioritise the key research areas considered important.

Current status: The subproject has been completed. The research priorities were published in the Pflege journal and presented for discussion at several national and international conferences (as at: 04/2020).
